WeCount Application Privacy Policy

The WeCount application (the "Application") is designed to simplify shared expense tracking. This policy explains what data is processed and how it is used.

1. Data Controller

2. Legal Basis for Processing

• user consent;
• performance of the User Agreement.

3. Phone Number as a Mandatory Identifier

The phone number is a mandatory user identifier and is used for:

• registration;
• authentication;
• interaction between users.

4. Contacts

• Contacts are uploaded only upon explicit user selection.
• Only selected records are transmitted.
• The full address book is not transmitted.

5. Data Storage

• Data is stored on servers located in the Russian Federation region.
• Data is stored for the duration of account use.
• Data is deleted upon user request.

6. Data Deletion

The user can delete the account from within the application. When an account is deleted, all related personal data is deleted. Technical logs are stored in anonymized form.

7. Data Sharing with Third Parties

WeCount does not sell personal data. Data may be shared only with services required for app infrastructure operation, to the extent necessary to provide the service.

WeCount does not use personal data (including contacts, name, and phone number) for advertising tracking purposes.

8. Data Security

WeCount implements reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user data.
